MAWA's Over the Top auction has gone virtual

In March, we had to postpone our annual auction due to COVID-19. This is your chance to bid on 197 amazing, original artworks by up-and-coming and established artists! Add to your art collection and support MAWA at the same time.

How to view and bid on the artworks

There are two ways to view the artwork.

1. Come to the gallery for a viewing. Details about safe in-person viewing times and procedures are below.
2. Go to this the Catalog page on charityauction.bid/mawa to see the digital images and to add your own bid.

Details about MAWA's auction

There are 30 - 45 original artworks will be auctioned each month, July-November. Visit the Catalog page on charityauction.bid/mawa to view the current lot. On the last Sunday of each month at 9:00pm CST, one art lot will close online, and on the First Friday of the following month, bidding on the next lot will begin. Each month will also feature an exciting raffle basket, tickets are one for $5 or five for $20.

Each artist has set a starting price for their work. You may bid in increments of $10 or more. But if you really want that certain something, bid high and often!

Safe in-person viewing

Come to MAWA at 611 Main St. in Winnipeg, noon - 4pm, Wednesday to Saturday. Only 5 guests will be allowed in MAWA at any given time to ensure physical distancing.

We didn't forget the raffle

Each month’s art lot and raffle basket will be available for in person viewing and bidding (with controlled social distancing protocols) at the MAWA space, 611 Main St., Winnipeg, Wed.-Sat. 12-4 pm.

Live outside of Winnipeg?

No problem! MAWA is happy to ship your purchase to you at your expense. Everyone is welcome! Please join in this online celebration of art, in support of visual art education for all.
