If you are an educator in Manitoba please note that MAWA is giving one free copy of Resilience: 50 Indigenous Art Cards & Teaching Guide to the library of every public school in Winnipeg, every rural and northern Manitoba school district and division, and every Manitoba Band school.

Resilience: 50 Indigenous Art Cards and Teaching Guide is a boxed set that contains 50 full-colour, 8" x 10" reproductions of contemporary Indigenous art and a bilingual (English/French) teaching guide, full of ideas on how to use the art cards to animate discussions and inspire activities in all subjects, from kindergarten to grade 12.

The artworks by 50 First Nations, Inuit and Metis women artists can be used to talk about the power of stories, environmental concerns, Indigenous-Settler relations and more. Engaging, hands-on art-related activities will deepen learning for all ages.
