Brenna George is known for paintings drawn from events in her life. She combines journalling and humorous insights with exuberant brushwork and anthropomorphism, which she describes as “where sentimental mushiness meets fretful thought.” Her work is in the collection of the National Gallery of Canada and the Surrey Art Gallery.
