Mandate: Mentoring Artists for Women's Art encourages and supports the intellectual and creative development of women in the visual arts by providing an ongoing forum for education and critical dialogue.  

Vision: Women have full access to opportunities and achieve equal representation in the visual arts.

Mission: MAWA empowers women in the visual arts and fosters their practices and professional development by providing a diverse program within a supportive community.
