MAWA recently moved to a new location on the second floor of 329 Cumberland Ave. There are 6 steps in the building when you enter from Cumberland and an accessible entrance with a ramp when you enter from the east parking lot. MAWA is on the second floor and can be accessed by one flight of stairs. For folks unable to use the stairs, a freight elevator is available (call us at 204-949-9490, and we will bring you up!) The MAWA washrooms are not accessible, but if you let us know you are coming, we will make arrangements to open an accessible washroom on the ground floor. All washrooms are single occupancy and gender neutral.
MAWA opens 30 minutes before each program is due to begin. ASL interpretation is available for programs with 2 weeks notice.

During the day, there is pay by phone street parking in the area for $2.50/hour. See below for more information about how to pay. After 5:30pm and on Sundays, street parking is available free of
change. There are also two paid lots on either side of 329 Cumberland Ave. To the west you can park and pay using the Gryd park app. To the east is an Impark lot with a machine for paying. Rates vary.
Unfortunately, the city has been removing parking meters and there are none near MAWA. They now require payment by app if no meter is available.
