Have you always wanted a website but haven’t gotten around to making one? Feeling intimidated by the technology and expense? This is the workshop for you! It will provide an overview of some of the most popular online website-building platforms and will lead you through the beginnings of building a website of your own. Bring a laptop (note: this is essential for participating in this workshop), some text about yourself as an artist and images of your work, and Alison Davis will walk you through the process using a free online web platform.

Alison Davis is an animator based in Winnipeg with a BFA from Montreal’s Concordia University. In addition to her artistic practice, she has worked for Winnipeg arts organizations such as Crossing Communities Art Project and Video Pool, and has learned about website creation along the way.
