Craftivism for International Women's Day

  • Saturday, March 7, 2020
  • 1:00pm – 4:00pm
  • MAWA, 611 Main St

Celebrate the first International Women’s Day of the new decade at MAWA with craftivism! Just as it sounds, craftivism brings together crafting and activism. Look forward while honouring change-makers and artists of the past by participating in the creation of your own zines, buttons and patches. These DIY crafts have been essential parts of activism, allowing people to create and distribute their own ideas and proudly support social justice issues. Want to learn more about its history?
