Presented in partnership with Arts AccessAbility Network Manitoba

As part of Crip Strength: Art + Body + Mind, a hybrid arts festival presented by Arts AccessAbility Network Manitoba on October 29, 2022 at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, there will be an exhibition that explores the concept of what is “normal” when it comes to disability. This juried show will then move to MAWA on November 4, 2022. The exhibition will feature artwork from local artists who identify as Deaf, Mad and/or disabled, and reflects the lived experiences of the artists in an ableist world.

Exhibiting artists: Candace Lipischak, Carla Sierra Suarez, Marie LeBlanc, Meagan Hoskins, Ryan Smoluk, Sacha Kopelow, Susan Aydan Abbott and Yvette Cenerini.

Free, everyone welcome. Please wear a mask at MAWA.
