Presented in partnership with AllArtNow
Ebba Bohlin is a sculptor from Stockholm, Sweden, who creates public art. For the past year, she has been exploring ecobiotopes and restoration projects with the aim of biodiversity.
While in Winnipeg, Bohlin will explore the region’s geography, history and ecology. She is particularly interested in the intersection of different habitats (plains, wetlands, deciduous forest and coniferous forest) and will use these places of ecological juncture to develop land art. This will be the first time she has worked outside Europe. She is excited to meet other artists who share her formal and conceptual concerns.
Free, everyone welcome! Please wear a mask at MAWA.
