Gerdan is a traditional Ukrainian loom beading, which is used to make necklaces in bright, geometric designs. Olesya Hlibka and Ganna Glibka will teach this age-old craft practice using small take-home looms for participants. Note, this is a slightly different technique than Indigenous loom beading, so come and try something new! During the workshop, everyone will learn how to make their own Gerdan.
With instructor Olesya Hlibka and assistant Ganna Glibka.
