Jacqueline Huskisson works in print, paint and public art. At her Meet-n-Greet, she will share a text that has influenced her work, “Abstract Comics and the Decomposition of Horror” (write [email protected] for a pdf). She graduated with an MFA from the Belfast School of Art in Northern Ireland in 2017 and is currently working on an exhibition project about comics and liminal spaces. Of her time in Winnipeg she says, “I have been struggling to contextualize my practice recently and I wanted the time to reflect and research and create a new sketchbook filled with new drawings, prints, paintings, and comics.”
