  • Thursday, January 20, 2022
  • 6:30pm – 8:00pm
  • Online with Zoom

What is the difference between Camp and Kitsch as aesthetic categories? Join Jean Borbridge to discuss the difference, and to explore the potential uses of Camp and Kitsch to penetrate beyond taste, sensibilities and nostalgia and point to our corporeal realities. Borbridge will reference Susan Sontag’s Notes on “Camp” in relation to Sarah Cwyner’s use of kitsch in her latest exhibition Source at Remai Modern.
