Want honest responses to your textile work? Want to practise talking about art? Join other artists and a special guest to give and receive constructive group critique, specifically geared to fibre works. Attend and participate in the dialogue, whether you are sharing work or not. There is much more “love” than “tough,” so don’t be shy!
Barb Hunt is a textile artist whose work has been exhibited across Canada and internationally. She taught drawing, installation art, independent projects, professional practices, sculpture and textile art for over 20 years at Western University, Queen’s University and Memorial University of Newfoundland. She was recently a MAWA Foundation Mentorship Program mentor. Hunt has experience with a variety of approaches to critiquing art, and will share those with attendees.
