Estelle Chaigne is a photographer, working with all kinds of images, who is based in Rennes, Brittany, France. She explores the layers of an image “to wander in the thickness of photography” its meaning and time. While in Winnipeg, she will combine analogue photographic work and performance to explore issues of perception, the invisible, mental images, gesture, the consciousness of seeing, chance and accident.
