Join us for two relaxed evenings of beading with Nichol Marsch. Participants will be guided through the design and creation process of their own unique pouch, using felt for the exterior and cotton for the lining. All materials will be provided; just bring your inspiration and ideas.
Nichol Marsch (she/they) is a Red River Métis artist/artisan from Manitoba/Treaty 1 territory. Her practice includes mixed media installation and various traditional crafts (e.g., weaving, embroidery, beadwork). Marsch learned beading from friends, fellow Métis artists, Métis beading circle leaders and independent exploration. She has instructed various workshops for youth and adults.
